More Than F1 Website Updates

We've listened to what you want to change and made some improvements to More Than F1, we hope you can enjoy them and you can start using them now!
It's now free to change your team:
If you need to fire a driver or switch you’re engine / chassis you will no longer have to pay a penalty. This means if you think you will run out of money you can switch to a cheaper team or upgrade your team as the season goes on.
Change sponsors whenever you want:
As you progress in the leader board better sponsors get interested in you and offer more money. Now you can change sponsors whenever you want, even in a race weekend! This was you can always make sure your team is earning the best.
Better post race updates:
More Than F1 has seen massive growth this year and the old system just wasn't going to keep up so we've rewritten it in a way that will cope with many many more users! We've also changed some of the names and order of the transactions so it’s easier to see what your team is spending one.
First competition is over

Our first competition is over , well done to More Than F1 user matthews who has won the Martin Brundle Autograph!!
Hopefully we will have a new competition soon, why not suggest a prize in our forum.
2012 Season has started!

Today marks the start of the 2012 F1 season and what a start!
You can't make any changes to your team until after the race so if you picked Mclarean or Grosjean looks like you could be in for some good points.
If you've forgotten to pick your team dont worry you can pick after we've updated the points which should be Sunday afternoon.

2012 Update is live now

We've recently updated all the data in More Than F1 (Drivers, Engines, Chassis, Sponsors) to be up to date.
This year we have aimed to make the game fairer and easier whilst still retaining the need for strategy
It should now be easy to run a team that gets a few points without getting into debt however you will need to be careful if you want to win!
Top Tip: Remember that the higher up the league table you are the more sponsors will want to pay you, maybe it's worth holding off getting sponsors just yet!
Top Tip 2: Remember if your team is in debt you don't get points!

2011 Season is ready

The 2011 season is ready!
We have all the new drivers and teams loaded into More Than F1 ready for you guys to pick your team ready for the start of the 2011 season.
More Than F1 has also moved to much better servers this year, that means the website should always work and be pretty darn quick.
Our sister site www.f1tweets.com has taken most of the development in the off season so we dont have a load of updates, mostly we are just more reliable and quicker than the close of last year.
We love to hear from you so sign up to the forum and have a chat.
New servers for More Than F1

New Servers! We are moving to new servers for the f1 2011 season, this will allow us to be quicker and more reliable.
This means we will be able to take even more players than last year!
We have the new servers set up and we're just going to test them before going live.
